The Canadian Partnership for Quality Radiotherapy

The Canadian Partnership for Quality Radiotherapy (CPQR) was founded in 2010 as an alliance amongst the three key national professional organizations: the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO), the Canadian Organizations of Medical Physicists (COMP) and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), with financial and strategic backing provided by the federal government through the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC), a national resource for advancing cancer prevention and treatment.

The vision and mandate of CPQR is to support and promote the universal availability of high quality and safe radiotherapy for all Canadians through system performance initiatives aimed at improving quality and mitigating risk.
