CPQR Technical Control Guidelines for Public Review

COMP is partnering with the Canadian Partnership for Quality Radiotherapy (CPQR) to undertake a review of all technical quality control guidelines (formerly known as the CAPCA standards). Development of these guidelines is well underway and COMP and CPQR aim to launch the guidelines as a suite in early 2016. COMP and CPQR have developed a comprehensive review process that encourages feedback from the medical physics community and the radiation therapy community at large.  The review process includes an opportunity for these communities to comment on the technical tests contained within the guidelines. Feedback is solicited for a period of 30 days.

2 TQC documents have been reviewed and updated by expert reviewers and QARSAC associate editors and are now available on the CPQR homepage for review and feedback:

Helical TomoTherapy
Gamma Knife Radiosurgery

Please forward all comments, questions, and feedback on these documents to CPQR at administration@cpqr.ca.  Feedback must be submitted by end of business on December 9, 2015.
