CPQR Technical Quality Control Guidelines for Public Review

As you may know, COMP is partnering with the Canadian Partnership for Quality Radiotherapy (CPQR) to undertake a review of all technical quality control guidelines (formerly known as the CAPCA standards). Development of these guidelines is well underway and COMP and CPQR aim to launch the guidelines as a suite in 2016.

COMP and CPQR have developed a comprehensive review process that encourages feedback from the medical physics community and the radiation therapy community at large. The review process includes an opportunity for these communities to comment on the technical tests contained within the guidelines. Feedback is solicited for a period of 30 days.

2 TQC documents have been reviewed and updated by expert reviewers and QARSAC associate editors and are now posted on the CPQR website for review and feedback:

Data Management Systems
Four-Dimensional Computed Tomography

Please forward all comments, questions and feedback on these documents to CPQR at administration@cpqr.ca. Feedback must be submitted to CPQR by end of business on February 11, 2016

Thank you for your assistance.
