Today, March 8th, is the International Women's Day, focusing this year on “Women in the Changing World of Work: Planet 50-50 by 2030”. The UN, the IOMP and the Canadian Government, to cite a few, commemorate this day with numerous activities (see the links below).
Take this special time to acknowledge your female medical physicists peers in your department and celebrate their achievements.
By taking steps for a better working environment towards Gender Equality we will move towards a world of work that is better for all women, that is one of the goals of the COMP Women's Committee (CWC).
