An invitation from Dr. Jean Seely, founding President of the Canadian Society of Breast Imaging

Recognizing that there was a need for a place to discuss uniquely Canadian issues related to breast imaging, the Canadian Society of Breast Imaging (CSBI) was founded in October 2017 with the support of the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR).

The CSBI is a home for Canadian breast imaging radiologists, physicists, technologists, other professionals involved with or influenced by breast imaging, and patients to discuss best practices, pressures on the system and to celebrate successes.

The CSBI will advocate for breast imaging in Canada, and will also collaborate with other breast imaging societies.

I welcome you and your colleagues to be part of our interdisciplinary membership consisting of patient representatives, imaging specialists, clinicians, researchers and allied health professionals from across Canada.

Jean Seely, MD, FRCPC
Chair and Founding President
