Manitoba Government Introduces new legistration re: Use of X-ray Equipment

The Manitoba government has introduced new legislation that updates requirements for the use of x-ray equipment.  The Radiation Protection Act (Bill 37), was introduced to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba by the Honourable Sharon Blady (Minister of Health) on June 9, 2015.  It should be noted that medical physicists were highly involved in the development of this Act.  The Act received Royal Assent on November 5, 2015.  For more information, please see:
